Wow, this is getting a bit long in the tooth, isn't it? It feels like we've been waiting close to an eternity for a Granblue Fantasy: Relink release date, with Cygames having previously said that we'd be getting more information in August.
Well, the Granblue Fantasy fan event just ended, and guess what? We still don't have a date. Instead, the developer announced that it'll be hosting another show on the 16th September, which will feature updates on action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink and fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
Now, it's important to note that Relink is still down as a winter 2023 release, but we're not sure we've ever seen a game drag out its marketing cycle like this, all while dodging what is arguably the most important detail. Oh well, the wait continues.
Can you wait another month for a potential release date for Relink? Feel free to shake your head in the comments section below.

This is getting a bit silly.
Cygames is just taking the piss at this point. It's literally been a four-time streak of them saying "more info in ___" and then announcing another show instead of anything new.
... This game better be worth it in the end!
If I had a preorder I would cancel it out of spite 😂
It will get a release date at Gamescom.
Yeah my interest in this game keeps waning and waning. It looked really nice 6 years ago, but now there are just more interesting things to play and they keep postponing the information, ***** that.
Lol I'll still give them the benefit of the doubt since this is still one of their very first big game projects while before they've only put out mobile games and a small side scrolling platformer but damn
Just give me a release date and take my MONEY
This game HAS to be an Elden Ring situation now. An eternity of waiting with no news and then a blowout reveal with extreme hype levels...which it actually lives up to somehow. Haha.
Believe it or not, last night I was playing VRChat and met a Japanese person who works at Cygames. I was thinking "where have I heard that name before?" Haha. Darn! I could have asked her about it. Lol.
these guys must have an unlimited budget or something... it doesn't sound like they need a return on their 10 year odyssey of a development cycle
An event to announce another event after the event they announced last time 🤨
Honestly between this and the whole PS5 discounts situation (ends August 10th), it feels like Sony will have an event in mid August.
@get2sammyb these people r trolling 🧌 us hard at this point but we'll still be celebrating 🍾 a release date when it comes
